Nursery / Reception
This year in Forest school the children are working on lots of different skills. They are building confidence in nature, this includes exploring in the forest and following the safety rules. They have started to attempt to climb the trees and the rope equipment which is all tangling from the trees and not on stable ground.
Nursery and Reception children have completed some challenges already in Forest school. They have all worked together to build a den. The only rule being at least one person had to fit inside.
The following week the children and I worked together to build a taller tent. This meant we could all fit inside. Once they completed the challenges they had lots of fun in the forest and helped one another to use and play on the different equipment.
